We need to create an agenda for our first interactive online meeting. I would like your input on what the agenda should include and look like. When discussing contents of the agenda, I ask you to think about the following:
· Purpose of the Meeting
· Objective
· Facilitator’s name
· Community members
· Activities: The purpose of each activity, the description of each activity, the activity’s steps, and the estimated time for each activity; an example of a beginning activity might be to have the community members create a shared vision.
Remember---our goal is to create a Wikispace where colleagues want to discuss how technology is integrated on NEISD campuses. We also want to invite more people to the wiki, so the first meeting should be interesting and dynamic. Please put comments and a possible agenda/topics here, and we will create an agenda together.

DISCUSSION (Make changes and suggestions, as necessary):

I propose the following agenda:

Purpose: First meeting of the online community
Objective: To discuss how we want our group to function as an online learning community.
Facilitator: Jennifer Hupping
Community Members: Kari Johle, Jimmie Smith, James Barton, Janie Smith
Activities:
(1) Introductions of all members through a short blog about themselves (i.e. experience, grade level, etc.)
(2) Setting of norms for the group by proposing non-negotiables, ideas for how we interact, etc.
(3) Creation of a shared visions for the group

I'm not sure what times we want to include for these activities or other agenda items. Thoughts?? ~Jennifer

I think that the agenda looks good but I am a bit concerned that it is ambitious for the first meeting. I like the getting to know you part but I think items 2 and 3 may take a little time. Great effort! Jimmie

Jennifer - I like what you have set up here. It is a bit ambitious for a first meeting but we can always do follow-up. I would like to get to know more educators and share backgrounds. That is always interesting. I am in a critical friends group at my school so I can share what we have done. I look forward to doing this--it can be fun and challenging. Janie

Ok---let's go ahead and cut down the agenda and make the first meeting more about getting to know each other.
